FFXVI Side Quest 16 — In the Absence of Battleaxes

In the Absence of Battleaxes

At Martha’s Inn, a frightened tavern waitress
asked me to exterminate the bandits who had attacked the relay station.
The bandits seem to be acting violently inside the tavern.

Clive exterminated the bandits who were acting violently at the inn’s tavern.
According to the proprietress Martha, now that Rosaria has become a vassal state,
they have no choice but to rely on the mercenary group, and it seems the hardships continue.

While the Cat’s Away

A band of rowdy ne’er-do-wells are raising a ruckus at the tavern in Martha’s Rest and reuse to leave.
Clive is enlisted to take out the rubbish.

Clive deals with the bandits causing trouble at the tavern in Martha’s Rest.
When Martha arrives, she explains that, since becoming subjects of the empire,
they’ve had no choice but to rely on what little mercenary assistance they can afford.

The vassal state’s garrisoned soldiers won’t do anything.

we’ve no choice but to do it ourselves.

Usually, I rely on the mercenary group, but there’s also a lot of jobs outside the relay station.
It’s a [real] headache that I can’t flexibly respond to this type of thing.
The empire may be in charge, but that don’t mean they care to keep us safe. If it weren’t for the
